Modern AI can generate and reason, but it does not persist. It resets every time. It has no stable "self," no continuity, no traceable behaviour. Every interaction begins from zero, with no memory of what came before and no coherent sense of ongoing purpose.
This fundamental limitation prevents AI systems from becoming truly agentic actors. Without persistent identity, there can be no genuine agency, no reliable decision-making patterns, and no trustworthy behaviour over extended periods.
Since 2017, we've pursued a long-term goal: build the substrate that gives intelligent machines a durable internal identity. This is not about adding memory or context windows. It's about constructing the foundational cognitive architecture that enables machines to maintain coherent selfhood.
